A significant part of the S2S Watershed Assessment and Stewardship Initiative includes a Technical and Regulatory Advisory Committee known as a TRAC.  The TRAC intentionally incorporated the Central Valley Joint Venture (CVJV) and their Tulare Basin Work Group.  The group has its own assigned Regional Coordinator, Craig Isola, and meets frequently under the auspices of the Tulare Planning Region.  CVJV was established over 35 years ago under the Central Valley Project Improvement Act of 1992 (CVPIA92).  Its membership includes various federal and state agencies and NGOs.
