The TBWP is pleased to announce that they are a major benficiary of a National Science Foundation funded initiative  known as the Adaptive Water Resilience & Climate Operations in the Southwest or AWRCOS.  This will complement S2S with an added focus on the science of change on a societal basis.

The TBWP is pleased to announce that at the end of January 2026, they received for the Sequoias to the Sloughs (S2S) Watershed Assessment and Stewardship Program a Notice to Proceed from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.  This included an earlier NEPA Clearance in the same month.  Work continues on the pre-launch planning and initial kick-off with statekholder participation in June of 2026 of this thirty month program.

​The TBWP is excited to announce that the TBWPN has been awarded a Network for Landscape Conservation 2021 Catalyst Fund grant! This funding will go towards continued Network facilitation by Ag Innovations as well as Network capacity building and outreach for the duration of 2021 and into 2022.

The TBWP is pleased to announce that Edison International/Southern California Edison has renewed its support for the Tulare Basin Watershed Initiative, specifically for continued coordination of the Tulare Basin Watershed Partnership Landscape-scale Watershed Network formation during 2020-2021.

The TBWP is now working with Ag Innovations and key regional partners to formally launch the effort under a new title: Tulare Basin Watershed Partnership Network.
