The TBWP Planning Team is working hard to bring together the best that there is to offer regarding the 5th anniversary of the State of the Basin series.  This year's should open up additional opportunities to protect and ehance this special part of California from cultural, natural, societal and scientific perspectives to what was known by the Yokuts the First People as Pa'ashi The Big Water.

Also being planned is a tour on Wednesday, November 4th of the Tule River / Deer Creek watersheds that once flowed into Pa'ashi or the historic Tulare Lake.  The tour is under TBWP's Sequoias to the Sloughs (S2S) through generous funding by the U.S.. Bureau of Reclamation's WaterSMART Program.  S2S is a 15 year undertaking from concept to reality of conducting a long-range plan of action for the protetion and enhancement of these vital watersheds.
